JADE Dance Team

All about JADE....
The JADE auxiliary is the dance/flag squad for the Pebblebrook High School Marching Band. JADE is made up of a unique group of young ladies. These young ladies have proven to be one of the elite groups at Pebblebrook High School. JADE stands for JAZZY, AMBITIOUS, DEDICATED, and ELOQUENCE. JADE strives each year to excel in the areas of jazz dance and flag manipulations. JADE has been given many compliments by numerous parents, staff, administrators, and on-lookers as being classy and awesome at what they do.

Coaches Corner- JADE's  LEGACY
We try to teach the ladies of JADE life lessons that they can use now and in the future.
These lessons are important because they incorporate discipline, academics, appearance, sportsmanship, and leadership. 1) Always conduct yourself as a lady. 2) Respect yourself, your coaches, and your teammates. 3) Always be fair when making decisions that will affect other people, especially when you are a leader. 4) Academics are first and foremost in your high school career; academics are a necessity and extra-curricular activities are a privilege.  5) As a performer you must always smile, have poise, attitude, grace and give a 100% effort.

JADE is more than a Dance/Auxiliary Team, it is a “Sisterhood”.
We are teaching our young ladies lessons that they will use in everyday life. We are teaching them 1) to depend on each other, 2) the importance of communication, 3) trust and honesty, 4) to embrace constructive criticism, 5) respect and dedication, 6) character and spirit, 7) responsibility and accountability. We are also preparing our squad with the skills, training, and knowledge they will need to participate on any dance or flag line at a College or University; and through this endeavor they could possibly gain scholarship opportunities with select collegiate level auxiliaries. 

JADE is not only an outstanding auxiliary squad, but also a group of young ladies that are building a legacy here at Pebblebrook High School.

Additional Information

• JADE Tryouts are held in the spring. For more information about tryouts see Coach Jordan, or Band Directors.
• JADE Fee's range from $500-$800 per school year. 
• JADE Practice schedule is normally from 3:45pm - 6:30pm M,T,W,Th. during the school year. Summer practices vary from year to year.
