Mr. Eulas Kirtdoll Jr. is the Director of Bands at Pebblebrook High School. He holds a Bachelors Degree Music Education from Mississippi Valley State University and has done extensive studies at Clark Atlanta University. Mr. Kirtdoll is a well renowned band arranger and his arrangements are currently being performed across the Southeast. As a professional musician, Mr. Kirtdoll has performed with The Impressions, The Ohio Players, BB King, Marvin Sapp and many others.
Mr. Kirtdoll holds professional membership in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity, The National Association for Music Education (MENC), Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA), and National Education Association (NEA). Mr. Kirtdoll enjoys teaching, performing and listening to music, cooking, and playing basketball.
Mr. Jarius Thomas joined the Pebblebrook staff in 2006 as a Percussion Instructor under the direction of Gabriel Arnold. In 2007, he continued to work with the program as a percussion instructor under the direction of Eulas Kirtdoll later became the Assistant Band Director in 2008. Mr. Thomas grew up in Douglas, GA. and received his high school diploma from Coffee High School. Later he attended Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, FL., where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music. He started his career as a percussion instructor at Samuel R. Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, FL. In 2004, he moved to Georgia and worked with such bands as Marietta HS, LaGrange HS, Lovejoy HS, and Monroe Area HS.
Mr. Thomas is also a professional drummer and has played on stage with many artists such as Ray Charles, Issac Hayes, Stephanie Mills, Yolanda Adams, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and more. His favorite styles of music are Gospel, Neo-Soul and Contemporary Jazz. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball and his Playstation. Mr. Thomas also enjoys spending time with his wife, Ebbie, and daughters, Alyssa and Jade.
